Kmail Proxy

Hi,

I have another problem with the proxy server in my boarding school.

I don't know, hot to set up the proxy server in Kmail. I set it up in Controlcentre -> Internet/Network -> Proxy-Server . I can use Konqueror and I get a connection, but I don't get a connection in Kmail or Kopete. So can someone please help me, how to set up the proxy for Kmail?

Thanks, Jan

Perhaps the proxy is only a HTTP proxy not a SOCKS proxy allowing for other protocols.

But Outlook works fine. I tried to set up a SOCKS proxy in the preferences, but failed.

ciao, Jan
