Kopete & MSN problems

Since this morning, I can't connect to MSN, does anyone experience the same? It connects, and in the next second disconnects...

It connects fine for me here . Using version 0.8.0

I've had the same problem using 8.0 on KDE 3.1.5

It seems this is Kopete specific - I can connect just fine with KMerlin...

What is MSN changing protocols now?

This really sucks....

Yes, I have the same prob since 2 days.
Using 0.8 on kde 3.2

I'm still having the same trouble, I've switched to kmess, and it's working. Later I'll try recompiling kdenetwork...

Kopete 0.8 with kde 3.2...

I don't know if it's really the source of the problem, but I deleted my kopete dir, and it started to work again.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem as all of you guys. When you say you deleted your kopete dir, what do you mean?

[root@host /]$ rm -rf /usr/local/src/kopete-0.8rc1

???

I believe what they mean is the /home/username/.kde/share/apps/kopete directory.

Looking back, that was quite a n00b question to ask. Thanks guys, Kopete is working again and I can put amsn back on the shelf for a while.
