Kopete 0.8 and mdk 9.2, X error

Kopete 0.8 and mdk 9.2, X error

Hello,
i have extracted kopete in Documents, then in the terminal i enter the kopete folder n type: ./configure --prefix=/usr, but finally i have this error:
checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X includes. Please check your installation and add the correct paths!

So, i have Xfree86 server 4.3-23, x-chat tcl/perl/python, which "X" i need? :?

Im not really sure which version of Xfree i have, but ihave Xfree server installed, how cani know the version, thx.

someone knows what is mean, when in the kopete cheking list, the program stop at cheking for X..;what is X please?

Si tu dois choisir entre la force et la raison,laisse la force à ton ennemi.Car si on peut tirer force de sa raison,
on ne peut tirer raison de sa force.

finally it was the libxfree package who missed..
