Kopete 0.8 | KDE 3.2 | MSN - Error 715

Hi,

i just upgraded KDE to 3.2 final on Suse 9.0 Pro. using apt4rpm. All went fine and i deleted any traces of kde 3.1.4 before doing anything. Now on Kopete im getting these errors every time someone message me or get online/offline using the MSN protocol. Kopete doesnt crash, so theres no backtrace. The error 715 popups are really annoying and i cant find any reference on error codes.
As im not sure if its a kopete bug, since i upgraded it by myself, id like to ask if someone knows whats going on or can point me to the ref. codes for further investigation before submiting anything to the bug list.

Thanks.

Didnt look so hard...

Sorry.. found the error codes reference on http://www.hypothetic.org/docs/msn/reference/error_list.php . My e-mail is indeed unverified and seems like i cant fix it. Oh well... maybe this should go to the wishlist.

At this moment I do not believe the verify email feature is in the kopete msn plugin. But if you were to verify your email through another client than this would clear up any problems with kopete and msn. Also, you can verify your email through the passport.com page.

Yes

Thanks for the tip. Yesterday i found some pages explaining how to verify the e-mail thru passport.com but it seems Microsoft buried this option even more. I spent at least 2 hours trying with no success. Yay for microsoft. Ill have to find someone with a Windows box to do it now.

Where do you want to go today my a** :D
