I need help

I am new at Linux and I have kopete installed. I dont know what version I'm using but kopete doesnt work help me please!!!!!!

Hi,
could you give us a little more details. Does kopete start at all, are some menus missing, what is your distro, how you installed kopete or did it came with distro, do you get any error messages?
