Setting a default CC: value

Can anyone tell this KMail beginner how to set a default CC: value? I.e. configure so that each message I compose will be by default CC:ed to a given address? Many thanks.

I don't think we can, you could do a feature request on http://bugs.kde.org/

But you can set a BCC for the identity if that is acceptable.

Thanks.

Another thing: how does one specify the folder to receive copies of sent messages? I'd like it to be Inbox, but I can accept that because (or if?) there's no View By Thread, there may be little demand for this.

Thanks.

You could create a filter like this
Choose "any field in header" and use the mail address with a leading dot

The idea is to match the In-Reply-to Header field which looks like this:
xxxxxxxx.user@host
where xxxxxxx is a number and user@host is the email address of the mail you sent.

If both the reply and the mail which it is referencing that way are in the same folder, KMail will be able to display them in a threaded view.
