Kopete problem

Hi,

I am running kopete 0.8-rc1. Whenever I try to send a message I get the following error.

An internal Kopete error occurred while parsing a message:
XSL document could not be parsed!

I am figuring it is one of two things.
I don't have the correct XSL parser installed on my system, or kopete can't read some configuration file somewhere.

Can someone help me by telling me which xsl parser I need, and where the kopete config files are located.

Can you please post what version of KDE you are using and how you installed it(rpm or souce). This may lead us to a conclusion on how to salve this problem.

EDIT: I just figured it out by default it doesn't select a chat window appearance option....just just goto Configure->Appearance->Chat Window and select one.

Thanks man,

that was exactly the problem! After I selected a style it works flawlessly. Btw for the interested, I am running this on an amd64 in 64 bit mode on KDE 3.2. I am running gentoo so I just emerged the 3.2 packages which now include kopete. ROCK ON!
