Slight bug with window size

I like to have my windows pretty thin per person, however when someone with a big name (only noticed on msn) starts typing it makes the window as wide as their name. Using kopete 0.7.94 on kde 3.1.4.

Change the (meta)contact's name to something shorter?

Using long (MSN) nicknames is stupid anyway... It's should be forbidden

hehe yea, I was tired and didn't think of that. I'll try it now. Would still be nice to just have it say "such and ... is typing a message." cutting out what can't fit of their name. Thanks mate :)

Slight bug with window size

What if one actually likes to see what their contacts are using as names? All of the MSN-based programs I've used will just truncate the name instead of making the window bigger, which seems to make logical sense to me (AMSN, MSN, Gaim, etc).
