Kopete and File Transfers (+OT)

I was wondering what the status and plan is for File transfers in Kopete. Its probably the most lacking feature of this Instant messenger. I do believe there is a half-assed file send system which sometimes works, but there is no way of receiving files as far as I can see. Any MSN Messenger 6.1 user sees that the file transfers are cancelled automatically.

I'm looking for 2 pieces of information:

1. What are the plans for file transfers in Kopete, will we have full file transfer functionality by the time KDE 3.2 comes out?

2. Are there are other MSN clients that exist for QT/KDE that supports the system tray icon AND file transfers? File transfers is almost just as important as chatting when it comes to instant messenger, Kopete is not a instant messenger until it has file transfer capabilities IMHO.

Thanks guys
