Errors

I am trying to set up my Kopete. I am using SuSE 9.0. I set the Kopete up as root and everything works fine. When I login as a user I get the following error message.

"Sign on failed because the screen name you provided is not registered on the AIM network. Please visit http://aim.aol.com to create a screen name for use on the AIM network"

I am obviously having a permission problem. I do not know where to make the changes I need.

Thank you in advance,
David

Did you set up the accounts again as user? When you set up the accounts as root they do not carry over to the user, each user must set up accounts individually.

I have tried to install each seperatly. I have completly uninstalled and reinstalled. I have unistalled and downloaded the latest version and then installed the new version. The results continue to be the same. This is driving me nuts. I know there has to be an answer.
