How to set proxy in Kopete?

I downloaded the latest version of Kopete and cannot find where to set the proxy server. Only in the Jabber plugin there was a proxy setup so that's the only protocol I can actually use. PLease help.

I use Suse 9.0 Pro.
thanks

it seems to me that kopete's protocol plugins all do their own connection code. it would be great if they all used a global connection plugin, which could then have proxy code to be shared by all plugins.

I was thinking of patching the msn protocol plugin myself, but there a many protocols which do not have support for proxies. i will see if i can code a single "proxy plugin" myself.

it'd be great if you could do such a plugin because for now Kopete seems unusable for many people in corporate networks that use proxies.
I'm looking forward to it. Good luck with that.

I wonder why the developers haven't implemented that yet.
peace
