Hi! Im writing because i have a problem/question with kmail. I hope your help. In my work we have access to internet via proxy server. I've configures all (konqueror, ftp) and works fine! but The problem is with kmail, i cant check my pop3 mail, i recived error messages. And is not problem of server because before install Linux (Mandrake Linux 9.1) i used Outlook and i dont have any problem. I searched and i dont find nothing in the documentation. The proxy installed in my office is WinGate.

Then, the question is: How to connect to POP3 email via proxy in kmail?

Also in Evolution and Mozilla Mail i have the same pronblem.

Thank for all!

Sorry my english. I dont speak very much  :D

Hmm, http and ftp can use native proxie, other protocols have to use a SOCKS proxy.

Check the SOCKS settings in Control Center->Internet&Network
