kmail read/unread problem

Hi,

I have a strange problem with Kmail 1.5. After retreiving my mail, I set them all on read. But when I get an other mail later, it sets the status of the oldmail on unread. I looks like there is something wrong with a index or so, because it doesn't set all mail to unread, most of the times it's just a selection.

Anybody who nows how to fix it ? Can I reindex or so ?

Sandy

I have something like that in the past once, and the problem got sorted by re-installing kmail, I just don't know weather it was a bug or a miss configuration but it did sort it self out with the re-installation. :D

I just upgraded from kmail 1.5 to kmail 1.5.2, but I still have the same problem. When I receive 1 mail the counter is correct, but when I sellect that map, it also changes the status to new from other mails :(

Maybe you have a problem writing to the file, try removing it from your home folder and set it up again.
it should be in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail

I would suggest you rename the kmail forder rather then delete it. Just in case you need to restore it. :D
