Network Configuration

I have used Linux for a while but I have never used the offered GUIs.
I'm using KDE 3.0 and I'm trying to change my IP Address information but I can't find where to go to do it. I searched the net and apparently there is suppose to be a "Network Configuration" under System on the menu but I don't have that. Did I miss installing a package?

Hi,
I have never seen a KDE Gui for changing the ip adresse.
The best way is to use the tool your distribution offers (yast2, drake usw) or simply use ifconfig on the shell.

Yes, there is a KDE GUI por network configuration

If you are Red Hat or Mandrake user , you can use Knetworkconf, you can change IP address to static or dhcp, change DNS and more.
It has a translate to Spanish made for me, but you can use it in English of course.
Download it in http://knetworkconf.sourceforge.net/
