newsgroup reader

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew of a newsgroup reader available in a similar style to forte free agent in windows. i think i must be old fashioned or stuck in my ways but i prefer viewing newsgroups in that style.

If none exist i may try and write my own, but don't expect anything overnight as i have written a line of code in 4 years!!!

thanks for any help

yours Mike

I think you could try knode.

Thanks for replying :)

I have looked at knode but and whilst it's better than mozilla, it is a similar layout.

I have spent the past 3 days looking for a kde alternative and so far i have had no joy, am begining to think that if i want what i want i'll have to try and write it myself.

i guess it would be a good experience?

thanks again

yours, mike

just a quick note,

pan is almost right, however i want to be able to select the message to download as i like to scroll through the messages with the keyboard. it's probably just me being awkward
