Repeated authentication harasses me !

Hi
Since 3.0.5a I have been haunted by continous requests to autenticate when I access web pages outside of out corporate firewall (MS Proxy). When I switch site, I get a new request (not always but too often to be annoying). I have had this problem since 3.0.x days. Now I have 3.1 (RPM's) but the problem is still with me !

Is there some setting that controls the password/authentication cache or lifetime that I might have in my ~.kde config files, or is it out proxy server that plays tricks with me. Is there any debug output that might help me ?

Needless to say, my second machine, an W2K with IE dont show these symptoms ..

Best regards
Anders Östling

Well not absolutly right, IE uses a proprietar protocol for that. He identifys automatically. As far as I know there is no change to do this on mozilla or konqueror.
