kontact doesn't start the kpilot daemon

in the menu /Settings/Configure Kontact/Kpilot I've ticked the 2 boxes :
start daemon at login
show daemon in panel

but nothing is launched...

ps -ef | grep pilot gives nothing...

(if I start kpilot, I can synchronize as expected...)

RE: kontact doesn't start the kpilot daemon

I'd like to remind everyone that the right place to ask KPilot questions is in a forum that actually gets read by KPilot developers and users -- that forum is the mailing list kdepim-users@kde.org.

Autostart / autostop was broken from KPilot 4.0 through 4.4.6, and is fixed in KPilot 4.4.7. You will have to go through the config dialog again, though, and check and uncheck the box (or fiddle with it) and then hit apply or ok.
