Completed ToDo's Hiding

I'm trying to figure out how to hide completed todo's. I was almost going to file a bug report about this, but discovered one had already been filed, and that appears to cover my issue:
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45070

Basically, I'd like completed todo's to be hidden. I've gone into 'Settings > Edit Filters' and have "Hide completed to-do's" checked.

Now, the bug report above was apparently resolved as the reporter did not have the filter enabled.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to enable this filter! I've searched everywhere to figure out how to do this.

Would someone be able to explain this? I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not sure if this is related to the printing problem I'm having, where the options to "Print only unfinished items" and "Print items due in the range:" are both greyed out, and I'm unable to check either one of those. Instead, the option, "Print all todo items" is the only one available to me, and in fact is the behaviour that happens (but not what I want to happen).

Thanks in advance for your help or thoughts on this!

Ok.. I've figured out the first problem, regarding the hiding of completed "to-do's".

For anyone else who found this confusing, there is a little checkbox in the calendary view, near the left hand side, under the what I'd call, mini-list of "To-do's". The checkbox says "Filter Enabled" beside it.

That seems to be an unintuitive place to enable the filter especially when To-Do's have their own view, but you're not able to enable them in that view.

But I still have the problem with printing, in that I cannot print to-do's for a particular date range. There is still only one option available to me.

Anyone with ideas on this? I might find out myself... heh.. but it would be handy if someone else knows.

Thanks again,

Laura
