kwrite save question

kwrite save question

I currently save my documents in RTF format so that I can send them to people to view under Windows. However, when I'm editing a document with kwrite and press ctrl+s to save, it always opens the save as dialog presuming that I don't want to save the file under RTF format. Why is this, and how can I stop from doing this?

That was correct for KWord 1.3
You have now:
- load/save/save as
- import/export

On KWord 1.2.x, you cannot stop it.
