KWeather broke KDE PLEASE HELP ME !

I always had problems with the Kweather applet it never worked in 3.0

I decided to try it in 3.1

I selected a station close to me, it said it could'nt find any data. When I logged off and reloged in KDE, after KDE starts it brings an error message box from Kweather. Then all of the taskbar ( or start menu bar or wathever ) does not work when I click on it. I have no icons on my desktop. So I am forced to do ctr-alt-del to log off.

I am now using FluxBox to write this message. Is there a way I could save KDE. I was thinking maybe acessing some text file that says what applets that are loaded in the taskbar so I could remove it, or something like this ?

EDIT : file:/root/.kde/share/config/kickerrc

I use the weather applet with no problems, though when my net would go down or something I'd get that same issue. This *may* be fixed in 3.1.2 and if not I'm pretty sure it will be in 3.2. Anyway to save your kde, delete the weather applet rc rile in ~/.kde/share/config/weather_panelappletrc and this should restore you to no configuration which will give you back your panel and let you either reconfig your applet, or remove it.
