KOffice-1.2.1-14

Using SuSE 8.0/KDE3.0.5
Just upgraded KOffice to 1.2.1 but now nothing works.
Running koshell/kspread etc from console I get
relocation error: /opt/kde/lib/libkofficecore.so.2: undefined symbol static_QUType_varptr.

Upgraded libart_lgpl to 2.3.10-92 but that hasnt helped.

Bit of a newbie so any help/instructions would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jim

If you upgrade from a binary distribution (rpm) try to upgrade to KDE 3.1 also.

Although it is said that KOffice only requires the libraries from the KDE 3.0.5, the binary packages you installed could have been made by someone with other libraries (contribution packages).

I would suggest upgrading too. And KDE 3.1.x blows 3.0 away. At least for me :)

On a side note, open office does the trick until KOffice handles MS Office/Abiword/RTF IO without problems.
