Now in Mandrake 9.1 withe the new kde3.1.3 this function doesn' work properly.
On sound icons the song is started everything is fine!
On movie icons only sounds starts I have no picture!

You alreadt asked this in the other thread about previewing in konq, and there's no need to ask twice. Like I said there, that's just the way it is. Do you really want to watch an entire movie clip in that small thumbnail or icon space?

misunderstanding movie file previeuw regular size

No I think you misunderstand me! It used to open the regular size not just tumbnail or icon!!.
Besides what's th point of hearing the sound of the movieclip?

Kind regards

ps And it seems it doesn't hurt to ask twice because if you you back to may this year I have posted this thread already, but without a respons.

Well, I didn't get that ps part since the grammer is weird, but maybe it's a feature for and old version of KDE only? What do oyu mean by it open in regualr size? You can play media files using the "Preview In > Embedded Media Player" option. But that's only if you right click the icon.

I think I know what he meant. I recall a version of KDE that
popped up an mpeglib window that displayed the movie
in all its beauty when you hovered over the file.
Dunno which version that was. In the current
one I only get the sound, just as described.

BTW: Did you try to get even for his weird grammar
by being ordograffigally creative?

Hi, guys...
I am not sure weather to post here or not.. I wanna know about these Movie Download sites, and I'm highly suspicious of their claims of "dvd quality movies", etc...especially if I'm going to pay for this.
What you guys think about this..
