Is there any way to disable kscd autoplay

I am using KDE 3 on Redhat 7.3 and there does not apear to be a way to disable the kscd autoplay when inserting an audio cd. One would think that unchecking the box that says "Autoplay when CD inserted" would do the trick but obviously there is some other magic to making this app quit popping up when I insert an audio CD, I mean other than going back to Gnome. With the box checked or unchecked, doesn't matter. kscd always pops up no matter what.

I dug around in the control panel for about 20 minutes to see if there was a setting buried in there that is making this kscd pop up, but no such luck. I searched google web, google groups the kde home page, these forums and still no luck.

What voodoo must I do to make kscd quit popping up when I put in an audio cd.

Thanks, Aaron Newsome
