checking for Qt... configure: error

Allways when I try to compile any source the ./configure command doesn't work - I get the "error:checking for Qt... configure: error (>= Qt 3.2) (headers and libraries) notfound. Please check your installation!"

I updated qt with the newest version available (with Yast), checked the $QTDIR and still no changes!

I use SUSE 9.0 with KDE 3.3.1...

Has anyone a good idea??? Thank you...

A NEWBIE :-)

Do you also have the Qt development packages installed? Should be called qt3-devel and contains the header files the error message talks about.
