Font color badtrip in KDE apps

Hi group!
I have a weird problem with a fresh install of KDE 3.1.5 in RH 7.3. The font color for almost all KDE apps is mixed up. The best example is in Konqueror:
Hyperlinks text are green instead of blue but the underline is blue as it should. If I go in the color settings in konqueror, the the color shown in the color box is correct (blue) but the example above is green.

Basically, it seems that the colormap is mirrored:
blue gives green (green gives blue), yellow gives purple (purple gives yellow), red gives red (?) and so... You should see the result when I open C++ code in kate! Ugly! (defines are in yellow in a white background, but the cursor is purple as the font color should be).

I've tried to remove all kde settings in my account (.kde and .kderc) but it didn't work. Anyway, if another user log in my computer the same problem occurs but if I log on my computer from another one (using rlogin) there's no problem....

Any idea on how I could resolve this problem?

TIA!

Swi

Did you try as a other (new!) user? it may be something in your configuration files.

If you really want to use KDE, consider somthing else that rh, they never really got the grip. Allthough i've never heard that one before...
