A lot of kdeinit

When I type ps -A, I see a lot of kdeinit.
1) Is this normal ?
2) What can I do for reduce the number of kdeinit processes ?

kdeinit is a helper process to make startup of some KDE programs faster.

If you have a closer look at the associated command lines (ps -x)you will see that for example you have a kdeinit process instead of a Konqueror process.
