Mouse locks up - may be related to khotkeys

When my mouse stops moving in KDE 3.2.2 I get the following message twice on my CLI:

knotkeys: activate_window_condition: set match : false

As I have reported elsewhere, If I go to the command line via Ctrl-Alt-F8 and Alt-F1, and return to KDE, mouse movement comes back. I get this two or three times an hour of light mouse use.

Setup:
HP pavilion a475c 512meg ram
Slackware 9.1
KDE: 3.22
Kernel: 2.4.22
Processor: i686 (Pentium 4 3 gHz)
X Window Version/Release: 40,300,000 11.0
Video: Nvidia GeForce 5200 -128meg
Microsoft Intellemouse Opticial USB

RE: Mouse locks up - may be related to khotkeys

My mouse is doing the same thing. I have both a usb and a ps2 mouse connected. If my usb mouse stops working then i can use the ps2. If I don't plug in the usb then I have to do the same thing(Ctrl+Alt+F1, Alt+F7).

Has anyone found a fix for this?
