using KDM password for other applications

Hello 8)

I want to make such thing:

The local linux user logins to its workstation using KDM.
And I need automatically to run a shell command using password which I put in KDM password field.

Maybe I can use "kdmrc" option Startup=/etc/X11/xdm/Xstartup and here to write my script, but i don't know how to get the password

P.S.
Exactly I need to connect to "Novell" file server using the same user password

I connect to "Novell" using ncpmount.
and I use SuSE Linux 9.0

Thanks
