KMail Array Overrun after system crash

Howdy,

I'm running KDE 3.2.x on a SuSE 9.0 distro. My box crashed whilst KMail was up. Now, upon reboot, I am getting a message ... I should have written it down and now am at work... so this is approximate:

>QDArray::at:<Big Number that scrolls>:Data Overrun

Or some such and this scrolls up the screen at a happy pace while the GUI of KMail is hung.

Any clues? I have blown away the old lock file in ~/.kde/share/applications/KMail and this did not help.

Thanks in advance,

Pavl

Hi,

got back home and here is the exact message that keeps flying by:

>QGArray::at: Absolute index 892172688 out of range

with the number incrementing as it goes.
If I blow away my Mail directory things work with a fresh slate. With over 400,000 lines of email in my inbox, I don't exactly want to start over though.

Any hints would be welcomed.
