KDE 3.1 on Yellow Dog

Hi, I am new to linux but have worked in Unix for a while. I have searched Kde-look.org and wanted to install some new themes, styles, window dec. and I have had some problems in Yellow Dog 3.0.1. For some reason I cannot get any to install correctly. I believe my problem is that I do not know what directory or path these files need to be in (I am using the ./install or ./configure that is in the package)? If anyone could help me I would be very grateful! :wink:
