How to make Konqueror stop saving thumbnails?

Background:
Desktop=IceWM
Filebrowser=Konqueror
Reason : I do a lot of image-editing and a good filebrowser with an thumbnail-preview , I consider a "must".

Problem : While having the "show-thumbnails" enabled , Konqueror creates a (hidden) directory in my home-dir WHERE IT STORES EVERY SINGLE &%$%""#&%# THUMBNAIL , I EVER VIEWED!!
damnit....

As mentioned before ; I do a lot of image-editing and since I didn't stumble across this hidden dir untill recently , the blimer had already eaten away OVER 578MB OF MY DRIVE-SPACE
*enter numerous blasphemous expletives here...*

I want to know , how to make Konqueror stop this "thumbnail-caching" as I don't care if the filebrowser may be a tad slower in rendering the previews , but I DO care about my hardrive-space being wasted.
