Can't start KDE

Hi All,

I am running KDE on Debian PPC.
I just carried out a dist-upgrade which upgraded KDE from 2.2 to 3.1.3, now KDE wont start, I get a message at the X screen that says "can't start kdeinit ..... check your installation".
Any ideas and help will be most appreciated.

Regards,
Doug
