SRPM's

Does the architecture of the processor matter on SRPM's? I am planning on installing KDE3.1.4 but would like to know if it is worth my time to use the SRPM before I end up in failure. Thanks.

As far as i know, it shouldnt, because SRPMs are "source" rpms, so should be relatively compatible. Thats as far as my knowledge goes. you might be best waiting for an answer from a more developer oriented user such as anda_skoa or the likes ;)
