K.ernel 2.6.0

When are they gonna have the full kernel available for download it seams right now all you can get is the patch with from what i can understand is just a text file. Any help greatly apreciated on what the hell your supposed to do with this file would be nice.

P.S. Yes and i have compiled a kernal before but from sources mainly 2.4.22
and i have the sources for that where can i get the sources for 2.6.00
There is no greater futility then running windows ME.
