Kopete 0.7.4 on Slackware 9.1 build error

I keep getting this build error while running make on Slackware 9.1:

/usr/local/lib/./libstdc++.so: undefined reference to `_Unwind_Resume_or_Rethrow@GCC_3.3'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[5]: *** [kopete_irc.la.closure] Error 1
make[5]: Leaving directory `/home/skrud/installers/kopete-0.7.4/kopete/protocols/irc'
make[4]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/skrud/installers/kopete-0.7.4'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Anyone who can give me some useful insight into possible solutions for this problem, please do so ;)

if you dont particularly want to use irc as a protocol in kopete, just delete the irc folder in kopete/protocols/irc, and edit the makefile so the irc directory isnt "made".

Have you a compiler version mismatch? (for example gcc 3.2 with gcc 2.95 libraries or similar)

Have a nice day!
