Adding icons to menu and panel

I install Gaim 0.72 and I have added a link in the KDE menu using menudrake but how do I add the gaim icon? It doesn't seem to appear in the list that menudrake offers...

Perhaps nobody has used menudrake yet.

The KDE menu editor lets you choose any PNG or XPM file for an icon.

In a normal KDE installation you can call it manually with the
command "kmenuedit" on the command line.
