Is there a way to not have a taskbar item for a specific program? For example: i'm running xmms with an tray icon plugin. So no i've the plugin i don't want xmms on my taskbar anymore. Does anyone know an solution for this?

I don't know how to do it, but you mean you want it like KsCD?

This doesn't work for xmms, apparently because xmms feels the need to spawn many processes, and one of the children is the process associated with X instead of the main process. if anyone knows an alternative solution i'm all ears.
