drag & drop of multiple files

i am having with drag and drop of multiple files in konq 3.1.1. I use shift select or ctrl select to select some files. next i go to grab the files for a drag and drop. the only file that is dragged is the one that the mouse happened to be over when i started the drag and drop. it should grab all the selected files but it doesn't. any idies ?

Well, it should work
Is this the way you tried to do it?
  • first select a few files with the mouse, while pressing Ctr;
  • then click on one of the selected files, and hold the button clicked while moving the mous to the destination.
  • konqueror now shows skeletons of the selected files that are being dragged

I don't hold Ctrl and it works for me.

Rinse : your method works. if i remember correclty kde 3.0 did not need to use this method. the method kenneth used worked just fine.

i have serched and searched for setting to contol this but no luck so far. maybe somebody nows something i don't (obviously the case).
