Problem with compiling KDE 3.1.2

Hi, i try to upgrade from my old Kde 2 from Red Hat 7.2 to Kde 3.1.2 from source on my Pentium II 233Mhz. I have succesfull the installation of arts, admin, artwork, base and lib ( with small proglem ) but with kdegraphics-3.1.2 i see a message like "ac_nonexistent.h no such file of directory" and when it goes to kscandevice.ccp at line 1388 it said "kscandevice.cpp: at global scope
kscandevice.cpp:1388: syntax error before '::' token
kscandevice.cpp:1389: syntax error before 'const'

can someone help me ?
