Samba tool in KDE for NFS :-/:-/

Hey Guys,



I am a new user to this Forum. You guys are doing great job @ KDE UI look n feel :)

Now my Q is...I wanna know what are the KDE packages for Samba Administration, Linux server configuration with Windows clients, et al. I am using samba2.2.8a version.

Please don't ask me to search, did that couple of days back @ apps.kde.com My intention is to get the best one. I would be greatful if you guys could suggest me the best one in the block :)

All tools to configure the samba client are included in kde.
You can find them in kdebase and kdenetwork (some distro's use seperate packages, like kdebase-lisa, etc...)
To configure the samba server, I recommend Swat, which you can use within kcontrol, konqueror, or a browser on your windows machine. Swat gives you complete and easy control over your shares.

(swat is no kde application, its a php-script or something similar.)
