KDE UPGRADE CHORES

Hi,
What are the necessary tasks to be performed after upgrading to KDE 3.1?
Though my system seems to be working fine, I cannot use the new version of Acrobat Reader while most of my desktop icons in KDE 2.2 failed to show up in KDE 3.1 :?

The Acrobat Reader has nothing to use with KDE (libraries).

KDE UPGRADE CHORES

Hi,
OK. If I may add, I did the insallation of the kde 3.1 rpm with rpm. -i file.rpm instead of rpm. -Uvh file.rpm
I still would like to know if it is possible to clean up my system configuration files. I'm running SuSe 7.3 personal edition :?:
