Issues with Terminal Window

Hello,

I have a problem with the Terminal Window.
When I click on "maximize" or double click the title, it scales up to the wanted size, but then starts
to scale down to the minimal windows size that is possible.
It starts from the right bottom corner and scales down to the upper left corner.

I tried to disable the Desktop Effects, but the issue stays the same.

Can someone give me hint why the window is behaving that strange?

Ah, and it is only the Terminal window that is behaving like that. All other windows scale correctly.
