problem unlocking the screen (somtimes)

Under debian squeeze with KDE4.4

I am using the picture slideshow wallpaper. Screen gets locked after some time of inactivity. It is sometimes difficult to unlock the screen, i.e. the unlock dialog does not appear when I shake the mouse or hit the keyboard. When this happens the wallpaper seems to be frozen as well...

I am wondering how I could fill a useful bug report: what package, and what info should I provide?
