HELP - KDE 4.4.1 for WIndows - Start Menu Creation - How to disable

Hi all,

I've done the following KDE Install:
- Install KDE 4.4.1 for Windows
- Copy the install directory to my external drive
- Un-install the KDE 4.4.1 for Window
- Run Konqueror or any KDE application/program off my external drive.

All looks good so far, that is Konqueror runs as well as most of the KDE applications/programs that I double-click in the bin directory.

However, running the KDE application/program "initiates" creation of the KDE shortcuts in the Programs -> Start Menu if one is not present. Is there any way that I can disable this? I don't want the Micro$oft Windows SA to see that am running KDE off my external drive ... :-)

Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
