Plasma Workspace crash when selecting new wallpaper

Hi,

Newbie here....I have been running Ubuntu for some time, but just picked up a Gateway LT3103U netbook and decided to try Mandirva with KDE. I posted this earlier today on the Mandriva community forum, but since it looks like a KDE crash, I thought it might fit here.

Basic specs are:

Processor: 1.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 L110
Memory: 2GB DDR2
Graphics: Integrated ATI Radeon X1270
Screen: 11.6 inches 1366x768

I loaded Mandriva 2010 x32 with KDE.

I can change wallpager if I use the ones in the default location, but if I click the folder to browse for more pics on the harddrive, the screen goes black for a couple seconds and I get a pop-up titled "Plasma Workspace - The KDE Crash Handler" that contains the crash info.

I did a seach and could not see any other thread that decribed this issue. Any thoughts on where to start troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Mitch
