Panel CLOCK (KDE4)

The CLOCK applet shows the date in the form "May 18". I would prefer that it show instead "18 May", as it did on my machines with KDE3. But I find no way to configure such a change. Is there one?

Dates (long and short) are shown properly in the Time and Dates page of Personal Settings. This does not seem to affect the CLOCK.
