Returning from fullscreen program to KDE

Hi,

I am trying to find a keyboard shortcut to return to kde (kwin) from fullscreen application. Eg. I am playing a fullscreen game, and I want to write an email without exiting from the game. I want to switch to KDE for a moment, and after email is sent, I want to switch back to my fullscreen game. 8)

How can I achieve this in KDE ? In Windows I need to press CTRL + ESC. What is similar key shortcut for KDE ? :?:

I use KDE 4.3.4.

edit
I can see it is a do it yourself help forum ;) . Unfortunately I don't have any solution yet - but I am working on it :P

Association of hot key to some various DBus KWin calls does not work, because hot keys are ignored in full screen mode. Maybe there is some way to get key pressed events despite fullscreen application is running.
