Ksnapshot very slow

Hi all

I have just upgraded from FC10_X86-64 to FC12_X86-64. Actually it was a new installation as the upgrade wont do the two steps. This meant that I had to reload many packages. My chip set is a twin core E6400 set. I have 4 Gigbyte of ram installed.

I use K3b and KSnapshot a lot in my work, They fit my need well.
KSnapshot is now so slow that you cannot select the segment to window with reliability as the selected area takes some 10 or more seconds to show.

I have seen that there are speed issues at the moment but I haven't been to discern a fix to these problems.

Appreciate advice.

regards
Peter

PS hope this is the right place to ask.
