can not change options in Login Manager

I just create an Arch VM in VMware, although I have add myself into the root group, I still can not change any option in the Login Manager, do I miss something? or is it a bug? thanks for help.

Try running systemsettings as root, either with kdesu or kdesudo. You can also invoke the login manager directly:
kdesu kcmshell4 kdm

If that doesn't work you might add dbus-launch: kdesu dbus-launch kcmshell4 kdm

Thanks for reply, the problem is solved by using command

$ sudo systemsettings

PS: what a silly Login Manager gui
