kde 4.2 beta widgets - "could not find requested component"

Widgets display similar error screens with "This object could not be created for the following reason: could not find requested component:"
Picture Frame - the above with "frame"
Previewer - above with "previewer"
These widgets worked prior to upgrade.

Previous: Intrepid KDE 4.1.3, up to date

Upgraded using announcement instructions and Adept.
